Oscar Ray Epps Jr., a 27-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 19, 2022, in Littleton, North Carolina. The incident occurred at the intersection of Ferguson Street and East Warren Street, where the Littleton Police Department responded to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered Epps Jr. with gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to ECU North Hospital in Roanoke Rapids, where he succumbed to his injuries.
