James Johnson, a 55-year-old man from Cornelius, North Carolina, was tragically shot and killed on November 26, 2022. The incident occurred in the Poole Place neighborhood off Bailey Road, where Johnson was found outside his residence on Lynn Lane. Cornelius Police Department officers responded to a call at 2:40 p.m. and pronounced Johnson dead at the scene. The victim, identified as James Johnson, was a resident of the area and was well-known in the community.
