Demetrius Shepard, also known as "Fuji," was tragically killed on June 14, 2016, on Detroit's east side. He was standing outside of a home in the 3000 block of Bewick when he was shot by someone driving by in a grey Jeep Commander. At the time of his death, Shepard was 33 years old.
