On June 15, 2016, Nathan Mosby Jr., a 28-year-old African American man, was fatally shot in a targeted attack on Detroit's east side. At approximately 3:00 a.m., Mosby was sitting in a parked car with his friend, 20-year-old African American Martinus Wilson, and another individual in the 6000 block of Rohns Street near Gratiot Avenue.
