Jeremy Paul Newchurch, a 31-year-old male, tragically lost his life on March 1, 2006, in Assumption Parish, Louisiana. He was a dedicated member of the Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office, having served for eight years. On the day of his death, Sergeant Newchurch was involved in a narcotics operation in a high drug traffic area.
