Barbara Baker, a 22-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on March 28, 2014, in Houma, Louisiana. Barbara, affectionately known as "Birdie," was a cashier at Rouses Supermarket and a resident of Houma. She was a native of Thibodaux, Louisiana.
