Harold Bart Oliphant Sr., a 55-year-old male from Ponchatoula, Louisiana, was killed late on the night of June 28, 2014, after an argument inside a bar along Louisiana Highway 22 turned violent. Authorities described it as an altercation that escalated in a place meant for noise, drinks, and weekend talk, but ended with a gunshot instead.
