In a tragic turn of events that unfolded in Webster Parish, Louisiana, a young man named Omar Lott lost his life. On August 24, 2014, Lott was shot and killed in what law enforcement officials described as a potential drug deal that had taken a fatal turn. For three days, his fate remained a mystery to his loved ones until his remains were discovered in a secluded, wooded area off of Walter Lyons Road.
