On December 1, 2016, 26-year-old Steven Hill, a male resident of Detroit, Michigan, was fatally shot in what remains an unsolved homicide. That evening, Hill had left his grandparents' residence with an unknown person, stating he would return shortly. However, at approximately 10:10 p.m., he was confronted by two armed individuals in the 17000 block of Snowden on the city's west side.
