In the summer of 2016, a tragic story of domestic violence unfolded in the small community of Pearl River, Louisiana, culminating in the death of 33-year-old Aimee Kirst, a female resident of the town. On July 1st, her life was abruptly ended when she was discovered in her home with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. The circumstances of her death quickly pointed to a suspect with a history of domestic disputes with Kirst, her ex-boyfriend, Jonathon David Talley.
