In the spring of 2018, the city of Detroit mourned the loss of a promising young life. Julian Moffett, a 17-year-old male, was a celebrated student at Detroit Central High School, known for his impressive 4.0 grade point average and his aspirations of one day playing in the National Basketball Association. His future, however, was tragically cut short when he was fatally shot on the city's west side in early April of that year.
