Raymerio Lee, a 15-year-old African American male, was reported missing on August 17, 2016, in Bastrop, Louisiana. His body was discovered in a wooded area near the dead end of Shady Oaks Street in West Bastrop on August 18, 2016. The body was initially unidentifiable, but an autopsy later confirmed the identity as Raymerio Lee. The police treated his death as a homicide and began investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
