Shawn Parish, a 19-year-old African American male from Plaisance, Louisiana, was tragically killed on September 24, 2016. Parish, along with 21-year-old Nakia Ramar Jr., was found shot to death inside a car on Cosay Road in Plaisance. The investigation revealed that the two victims were ambushed and shot multiple times with an AK-47 during the early morning hours. The incident occurred just hours after Parish celebrated his birthday.
