Nakia Ramar Jr., a 21-year-old African American male from Plaisance, Louisiana, was tragically killed on September 24, 2016. Nakia Ramar Jr. and 19-year-old Shawn Parish were ambushed and shot multiple times with an AK-47 in the early morning hours. The incident occurred at a home in Plaisance, and both victims were found dead inside a car on Cosay Road. The investigation revealed 18 .223 caliber shell casings at the scene.
