Shantell Pollard, a 19-year-old African American female from Thibodaux, Louisiana, tragically lost her life on October 31, 2017. She was shot in the head while sitting in the passenger seat of an SUV in the Marydale neighborhood of Thibodaux. The incident occurred around 10:35 p.m., and she was found unresponsive by deputies who responded to the scene.
