Steven J. Beaird, a 61-year-old white male from Shreveport, Louisiana, was found fatally shot on June 15, 2018, in the Haughton area. Beaird was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds next to a motorcycle near the 600 block of Parker Road around 5 a.m. Eyewitnesses reported hearing gunshots and at least one motorcycle in the vicinity.
