Shawanda Robinson, a 39-year-old African American woman, was tragically shot and killed on Christmas morning, December 25, 2018, in Bastrop, Louisiana. The incident occurred at around 3:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Eden Apartments. Shawanda was shot once in the chest with a small caliber weapon, and the shooting was reportedly in retaliation for a fight.
