Joseph Moore, a 68-year-old man from Church Point, Louisiana, tragically died on July 26, 2019, from a single gunshot wound to the chest with a .22 rifle. At the time of his death, Moore was confined to a wheelchair due to an amputated leg. The incident occurred early in the morning on North Franques Street, and despite medical efforts to revive him, Moore was pronounced dead at the scene.
