On a cold morning in January 2020, the community of Rayville, Louisiana, was shaken by the discovery of a beloved and respected member of their community, Charley Island Jr., a 65-year-old male, had been tragically killed. His body was found in the entryway of a house on Earline Street on Monday, January 6th, the victim of a fatal gunshot wound.
