Zoren O'Brien, an 81-year-old man from Iowa, Louisiana, tragically died on August 28, 2020, along with his wife Joan O'Brien, who was 73 years old. The couple was found fatally shot inside their home by a family member who discovered their bodies just after 7 a.m. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office launched an investigation into the double murder, which revealed that the incident was not believed to be a random act.
