In the autumn of 2020, the life of Schuyler Bedford, a 35-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short in Covington, Louisiana. On the evening of Friday, October 2nd, reports of gunshots near the intersection of North Columbia Street and West 33rd Avenue prompted a response from the Covington Police Department. Upon their arrival, officers found evidence of a shooting, with gunfire marks visible on vehicles in the vicinity. However, there was no victim at the scene.
