In the early summer of 2007, the life of Hosteene Isaacs, a 39-year-old Black man from Dorchester, was cut short in a burst of violence. On the afternoon of June 3rd, at approximately 2:44 pm, police responded to a call of a person shot at 26 Leroy Street. Inside the residence, they found Isaacs suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Boston Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
