In the quiet evening of Thursday, March 25, 2021, a journey to meet someone in Patterson, Louisiana, turned fatal for 21-year-old Keiondre Onell Allridge. A native of Lafourche Parish and a resident of Thibodaux, Allridge was in a vehicle with two other occupants when they were tragically ambushed. At approximately 8:35 p.m., in the Zenor Road area, two males approached the vehicle and opened fire.
The driver of the car, in a desperate attempt to get help, drove to a business located at 1902 US 90 in Patterson. Deputies responded to calls of shots fired and a possible wounded man at the business. Upon their arrival, they found Allridge, who was later pronounced dead by the St. Mary Parish Coroner's Office.
The investigation into the shooting quickly led authorities to two suspects. The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office identified 18-year-old Cameron Jaron Schrod Hogan and a 16-year-old juvenile male, both from Patterson, as the individuals responsible for the death of Keiondre Onell Allridge.
On March 26, 2021, arrest warrants were executed. Cameron Jaron Schrod Hogan was taken into custody and faced a slew of charges including first-degree murder, illegal possession of stolen firearms, cultivation of marijuana, possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, and several other drug and weapons-related offenses. A search warrant executed at Hogan's home led to the seizure of drugs and weapons. The 16-year-old was also arrested and charged with first-degree murder and illegal possession of stolen firearms. Hogan was subsequently booked into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
