De'Armarione Tra'shun Hawkins, a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 10, 2021, in Jackson, Louisiana. The East Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office reported that deputies responded to a call around 11:56 p.m. on July 9, 2021, and found De'Armarione suffering from a gunshot wound on the 3600 block of Race Street. He was transported to Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries just after 3 a.m. on July 10, 2021.
