On September 6, 2021, John Barker, a 61-year-old man from Krotz Springs, Louisiana, was tragically shot and killed on the front porch of his ex-wife's home. The incident occurred early in the morning, and police were responding to a disturbance call at the residence when they heard multiple gunshots. Upon arrival, they found John Barker dead with multiple gunshot wounds.
