In the community of Port Allen, Louisiana, the life of 36-year-old Ernest Young was tragically cut short on the evening of Sunday, October 3, 2021. Young, a Black male, was discovered on Rev. Manuel Drive suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office responded to the scene, and Young was subsequently transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
