On a summer evening in New Orleans, the life of 29-year-old Kyeon Stevens, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On August 10, 2022, Stevens was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the Little Woods neighborhood, a community in the eastern part of the city. The New Orleans Police Department responded to the scene, and he was pronounced dead.
