Veronique Allen, a 50-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on August 23, 2022, in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Veronique, affectionately known as "Nikki," was a beloved mother, grandmother, and local entrepreneur. She was inside her mother's home on Main Street, getting her hair done, when she was struck in the head by a stray bullet during a drive-by shooting.
