Al Watson, a drifter, was murdered on June 21, 1920, in Chicago, Illinois. He was involved in a notorious case known as 'The Case of the Ragged Stranger.' Al Watson, whose age and ethnicity are not explicitly documented, was killed by Carl Otto Wanderer, a former soldier. Wanderer orchestrated a bizarre plot to murder his wife, Ruth, and frame Watson for the crime.
