John Herbert Dillinger, a 31-year-old white male, was a notorious American gangster during the Great Depression. He was born on June 22, 1903, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and became infamous for his involvement in bank robberies and other criminal activities. Dillinger's criminal career was marked by his leadership of the Dillinger Gang, which was responsible for robbing twenty-four banks and four police stations.
