E. Sue McKinney Marshel, a 38-year-old Caucasian woman, tragically lost her life on July 4, 1995, in Wayne City, Illinois. Sue and her 13-year-old daughter, Melinda, were reported missing after failing to attend a family Fourth of July celebration. The next day, Sue's car was discovered partially submerged in a pond, stained with blood, which immediately raised suspicions of foul play.
