On the night of October 8, 2011, Daniel Bunch, aged 22, was tragically shot to death at a Mobil gas station located on Blue Hill Avenue in Mattapan Square. The shooting occurred around 11:45 p.m. when Bunch was reportedly accosted by a suspect who fled the scene in a vehicle.
