Darnall Gordon, a 36-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on April 7, 2014, in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. when Gordon and two other men, aged 27 and 25, were inside a convenience store located in the 1600 block of West Howard Street. An unknown assailant standing across the street opened fire, striking Gordon in the chest. He was transported to Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, where he was pronounced dead at 8:26 p. ...
