Trevolus Pickett, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on April 18, 2014, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. in the 5200 block of West Congress Parkway, during an armed robbery. Pickett was shot in the head and was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital less than an hour later. The Cook County Medical Examiner's office confirmed that he died from multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
