On August 12, 2012, Kristen Lartey, a 22-year-old college graduate from Hyde Park, Boston, was tragically shot and killed while sitting in a car on Harlem Street in Dorchester. The shooting claimed the lives of three young women, including Lartey, and left a fourth victim injured. The women were targeted in a drive-by shooting that remains unsolved.
