On June 26, 2014, Albert Glover, a 56-year-old man, was fatally shot in a drive-by incident in Chicago's Austin neighborhood. The shooting occurred around 1:35 p.m. in the 100 block of North Leamington Avenue, where Glover resided. A vehicle approached, and an occupant fired multiple shots, striking Glover in the back and left leg. He was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital and pronounced dead at 2:21 p.m.
