Deanthony Jackson, a 32-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on October 20, 2014, in Dixmoor, Illinois. The incident occurred during a violent home invasion at his family residence near 143rd and Paulina. Jackson was shot and killed in front of his seven-year-old son, while his two younger brothers were also critically injured in the attack.
