Damien Ramell Henderson, a 27-year-old African American male from Champaign, Illinois, was tragically shot and killed on November 18, 2014. Henderson was found dead inside a vehicle in the area of Forsythia Drive and Red Bud Drive following a wellness check request. Investigators believe he was shot the night before and remained in the vehicle until discovered by police.
