Patrick Boswell, a 14-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on January 2, 2015, in Rosemont, Illinois. Patrick, an eighth-grade student at Iroquois Community School in Des Plaines, was known for his love of animals, football, and his mechanical skills. On the night of his death, Patrick was found lying in an easement between two residential buildings, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head. This incident marked Rosemont's first homicide in a decade.
