Justin Haney, an 18-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on January 9, 2015, in Country Club Hills, Illinois. Justin, a freshman at Southern Illinois University, was home on winter break when the incident occurred. He was walking to his girlfriend's house when he was shot in the chest. The police responded to a call of shots fired around 7:30 p.m. and found Justin lying face down in the snow on West 186th Street.
