Tommy E. Smith, a 39-year-old man from Arcola, Illinois, tragically passed away on January 11, 2015. He was involved in a fatal shooting incident with Arcola police officers who were responding to a domestic disturbance call. When the officers arrived at the scene, Smith confronted them armed with an assault rifle and a handgun. The police opened fire, resulting in Smith's death.
