Jaylin Shaw, an 18-year-old African American male from Rockford, Illinois, tragically lost his life on February 2, 2015. Jaylin was found with a gunshot wound to the head in the 1700 block of Log Cabin Avenue. Despite the efforts of paramedics who transported him to OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, he was pronounced dead early Monday morning.
