On March 31, 2017, Tommie Moore, a 70-year-old woman from Berwyn, Illinois, was tragically found dead in her home along with her husband, Ira Moore, aged 67. The couple had been married for over 20 years and both suffered from disabilities. Tommie had dementia, and Ira was a double amputee who used a wheelchair. Their deaths were ruled as homicides, with both victims having been shot in the head, and Tommie also suffering multiple stab wounds.
