Damian Hernandez, a 15-year-old boy from Mount Prospect, Illinois, tragically lost his life on August 22, 2023, after sustaining critical injuries from a shooting in unincorporated Palatine. On August 17, Palatine police responded to a call of shots fired and discovered Damian with gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was immediately rushed to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where he fought for his life but ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Damian's death has left his famil ...Read More
