On the evening of August 2, 2014, 22-year-old African American male Omarde Wilson was fatally shot in the 8600 block of International Boulevard in East Oakland, California. According to reports, the incident occurred around 9:00 PM when an unidentified individual approached Wilson, exchanged a few words, and then shot him.
