Mosiah Johnson, a 30-year-old African American man, was fatally shot on the night of May 28, 2018, in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. The incident occurred at approximately 9:09 p.m. in the 800 block of South Albany. Johnson suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:42 p.m. The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately clear.
