Andrea Echeverria, a 23-year-old woman, was found dead on August 27, 2018, in her apartment in Midlothian, Illinois. The Cook County medical examiner's office reported that she died from a gunshot wound to the back, and her death was ruled a homicide. The body of Cesar Santana-Orozco, a 29-year-old man, was also found at the scene. He died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, and his death was ruled a suicide.
