Rene Ibarra, a 24-year-old Hispanic man from Aurora, IL, was tragically shot and killed on the night of September 28, 2018. The incident occurred around 11:40 p.m. while Ibarra was sitting in a car with a 21-year-old man on the east side of Aurora. According to reports, an unidentified individual approached the vehicle and fired multiple shots, striking Ibarra several times.
