Ventriease "Dooski Tha Man" Criss, a 25-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on October 9, 2018, in the Washington Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Criss was shot in the head while a 20-year-old woman, who was with him at the time, was struck in her left foot. The shooting occurred just before 4 p.m. in the 5600 block of South Michigan Avenue.
