Jerry McCray Jr., a 22-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on January 13, 2019, in Roselle, Illinois. The incident occurred in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Springhill Drive. First responders arrived at the scene around 4:10 p.m. after receiving a call about a person down in the parking lot. They found McCray lying on the ground, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
